Tivify elevates user experience with improvements in the latest update

The streaming service, developed by TVUP for the Spanish B2C market, debuts a new interface, uses AI to offer more accurate recommendations and launches 15 new audio channels.

Today, Tivify launched a major update to its big-screen app, which, beyond improving the browsing experience with an enhanced interface, allows its user base to access its content more simply and intuitively. In addition, the streaming platform has added a new audio service that includes 15 music channels produced by Stingray.

The new version of Tivify includes changes to the user interface, which has been modernised. The layout of elements has been improved to make accessing favourite content effortless. For example, accessing the channels you want to watch from the start is much easier, as they can be filtered by category. Navigating between sections and discovering new series and films on the platform has also been improved to make finding something to watch more intuitive.

With this latest update, the eighth generation of TVUP’s TV service, Tivify, includes functional enhancements beyond the browsing experience. The service features a new AI-powered recommendation engine that considers each user’s history to offer more accurate suggestions. Artificial intelligence is also present in all sections of the platform, delivering relevant content based on the topics of the moment.

The enhancements and new features can already be enjoyed on Tivify’s TV apps (Android TV, Fire TV, Samsung and LG) and web player and will be available on mobile apps in the coming weeks.

New audio channels arrive

Another new feature that comes with the launch of the latest version is the audio channels. These are a selection of free channels focused solely on audio. Today, 15 such channels are being launched on Tivify by Stingray and its Stingray Music Channels, with music from all genres and eras. With a focus on Spanish and Latin music, Total Hits Spain, Éxitos Latinos, Romance Latino, Reggeaton and Today’s Latin Pop are launched, in addition to Greatest Hits, Soul Storm, Classic Rock, The Spa, Smooth Jazz, Easy Listening, Dancefloor Fillers, Flashback 70s, Remember the 80s and Nothin’ But 90s.

The arrival of these new channels reinforces Tivify’s commitment to multiplying free entertainment options. The service has over 200 free channels and a catalogue with hundreds of titles on demand at no cost. The service also has Plus (2.99 euros per month) and Premium (7.99 euros per month) plans, with more channels and functionalities, and subscribers can contract different content packages to personalise their offer.
