Terms and conditions of use

TVUp offers a personalized subscription service that allows our subscribers to access a certain offering of TV channels and other content (hereinafter “TVUp content”) transmitted over the Internet to certain televisions, computers, applications and other devices connected to the Internet (“TVUp compatible devices”).

These Terms of Use govern your use of our service. For the purposes of these Terms of Use, “TVUp service”, “our service” or “the service” refers to the personalized service provided by TVUp to find and view the TVUp channel offering, including all its features and functionalities, recommendations and reviews, the website and user interfaces, as well as all content and software associated with our service.

1. Subscription

1.1 Your subscription to TVUp will continue on a month-to-month basis until its termination according to the agreement with the telecommunications operator with which you have concluded the service. To use the TVUp service you must have Internet access and a TVUp-compatible device (Media Center 6G, smart TV, laptop or PC, smartphone or tablet) and be up to date with the telecommunications operator with which you have contracted the service through an agreed payment method.

1.2 On certain occasions, we will offer various subscription plans that include a different TV channel offering depending on the telecommunications operator’s offer to the customer, including promotional plans or special subscriptions offered by a third party in combination with the provision of its own products and services. Some subscription plans may have different conditions and limitations, which will be set out when you register or in other communications that you can consult. You can find specific details about your subscription by consulting the telecommunications operator with which you have contracted the service.

2. Free Trial

2.1 Your subscription to TVUp may begin with a free trial. The free trial period for your subscription will be specified at the time you sign up and is intended to allow new subscribers, and some existing subscribers, to try out the service.

2.2. TVUp determines eligibility requirements or duration for free trials at its sole discretion and may limit eligibility to prevent trial abuse. TVUp reserves the right to void the free trial and block your account if we determine that you do not meet the eligibility requirements. Subscribers with an existing or recent TVUp subscription are not eligible. We may use information such as device identifiers, carrier account identifiers, payment method, or account email address used with an existing or recent TVUp subscription to determine eligibility. There may be limitations on combinations with other offers.

2.3. We will charge your monthly subscription fee to your Payment Method at the end of the free trial period unless you cancel your subscription before the end of the free trial period. If you would like to view your monthly subscription fee and the end date of your free trial period, please visit our website and click on the “Billing Information” link on the “Account” page.

3. Billing and Cancellation

3.1. Billing Cycle. The subscription fee for the TVUp service and any other charges associated with your use of the service, such as taxes and potential transaction fees, will be billed to your Payment Method on the calendar day corresponding to the start of the paid portion of your subscription through a third party (in this case, the telecommunications operator with whom you have contracted the service). In some cases, the billing date may change, such as if your Payment Method has not been set up correctly or if your paid subscription started on a day that does not exist in a given month. Please contact your telecommunications operator to check the date of your next payment.

3.2. Cancellation. In some service contracts you can cancel your TVUp subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access to the TVUp service until the end of your monthly billing period with the communications operator with whom you have contracted the service. To cancel your subscription, go to the “Account” page and follow the instructions for cancellation. In other service contracts you will not be able to directly cancel your TVUp subscription through the “Account” page, so we advise you to contact your communications operator with whom you have contracted the service to find out about the procedure for canceling the service. For example, you may have to visit your account with the corresponding operator and deactivate the automatic renewal of the TVUp service, or unsubscribe from it, through said account.
