The FAST & ADS Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation of all FAST channels. This role requires technical leadership, hands-on involvement, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure to ensure a seamless viewing and advertising experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the technical operations of all FAST channels, ensuring optimum streaming quality.

2. Master OTT protocols such as HLS and DASH, including audio/video parameters and ad signaling based on SCTE-35 standards adapted for each protocol.

3. Integrate and manage VAST standards to effectively connect with AdServer.

4. Possess strong knowledge of the OpenRTB protocol for troubleshooting purposes.

5. Develop automation scripts in Python to streamline monitoring, identify issues, and create metrics.

6. Analyze dashboards and metrics to identify issues in ad revenue performance due to fill rate drops or buyer behavior.

7. Conduct troubleshooting activities to quickly resolve operational issues.

8. Knowledge of HTTP and TCP/IP is a must for ensuring robust and efficient operations.

9. Optimize ad network parameters (macros) to achieve the best advertising performance.

10. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for troubleshooting and optimizing operations.

11. Manage and mentor junior profiles within the team.

12. Prioritize workload and channels based on viewership data and business requirements.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in video technology or related fields.
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Proficient in HLS, DASH, SCTE-35, VAST, and OpenRTB protocols.
• Knowledge of HTTP and TCP/IP is a must.
• Experience in Python scripting for automation and monitoring.
• Excellent skills in data analysis and interpreting dashboards.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
