The position involves working with a telecommunications professional’s team to improve and implement next generation TV apps to support TV UP entertainment services portfolio evolution.

Main responsibilities 

• Maintain and enhance our existing WordPress website. 
• Develop new features and functionalities based on business requirements. 
• Ensure the website is optimized for performance, security, and responsiveness. 
• Work extensively with WooCommerce Subscriptions to manage customer subscriptions, billing, and renewals. 
• Customize and extend WooCommerce functionality to meet specific business needs. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve any subscription-related issues. 
• Integrate and configure third-party plugins to enhance site capabilities. 
• Stay updated on the latest WordPress and WooCommerce trends, tools, and best practices. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and support to implement website features aligned with business goals 

Qualifications 

• Any IT, Computer Science or related Software development degree 
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong focus on WooCommerce Subscriptions. 
• Solid understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery. 
• Experience with customizing and extending WooCommerce functionality. 
• Familiarity with e-commerce best practices and subscription-based business models. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 
• Experience in integrating third-party Plugins and APIs 
• Bitbucket code repositories and Version Control System 
• Some knowledge of Agile Software Development 
• Jira for ticket tracking 

Bonus Skills 

• Experience with other e-commerce platforms. 
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
